Pre-session consultation
 
Each and every session is carefully planned and custom designed to fit your personal style and needs.  At your pre-session consultation, we will discuss all of the details that help determine the outcome of your session, including how the images will be displayed, the color design and style of your home, who will be photographed, family members' personalities and interests, outfit selection, and how to prepare.

About your session

Family sessions take place outdoors in or around 
Miller, SD.  Clients are welcome to suggest specific locations or simply share preferences for desired location type.  

Sessions typically last between 1 and 2 hours and are held during the final hours before sunset to capture
the best light.  

 Booking a session well in advance helps to ensure availability.  Summer and fall are the most desired seasons and tend to book quickly.  I accept a very limited number of bookings to ensure each client receives the best experience possible.

Ordering

Your viewing and ordering appointment will be scheduled approximately two to three weeks following your session.  At this appointment you will return to the studio, where you will be to enjoy a slideshow of the images in your gallery.  We will then take time to review the images carefully and discuss the products available to you.  
​
I will walk you through the selection process and help you design timeless products that are perfect for your home and will be cherished for a lifetime and beyond.   It is at this time that we will finalize your portrait order, so all decision makers should be present.
